Visa Information

General guidance for international participants planning to travel to Brazil for the 12th International Sheep Veterinary Congress.

Traveling to Brazil

Visa requirements for entering Brazil depend on each traveler’s nationality, passport type and length of stay. Some participants may be visa-exempt, while others must apply in advance through the official Brazilian Government visa service, a Brazilian Consulate, or the eVisa platform when applicable. Before making travel arrangements, participants should check the most recent official rules, prepare the required documents, and confirm the applicable processing time and consular fees.

Visa guide for participants

We prepared a short PowerPoint guide with practical information on tourist visas to Brazil, including official application channels, general document requirements, eVisa information and useful government links.

Important notes

Visa rules may be updated by the Brazilian Government at any time. The information below is general and does not replace official guidance from Brazilian authorities.

  • Foreign travelers may need a completed visa application form, a valid travel document, proof of payment of consular fees and additional documents according to the visa type.
  • Citizens from the United States, Canada and Australia can request an eVisa online when applicable.
  • Visas cannot be issued inside Brazil; applications must be completed before travel when a visa is required.
  • For specific questions, participants should contact the nearest Brazilian Embassy or Consulate.
